Contrary to what the No on Measure K advocates would lead you to believe, Measure K DOES NOT stop an applicant from developing their properties along Highway 101. A vote, up or down, on Measure K, does not stop development. Period.
Developing these “commercial nodes” along Highway 101 is granted in the unanimously adopted 2015 General Plan. That ship has sailed. The question is; Do we want to vote YES on Measure K to implement C-3’s restrictive zoning, or do you want to vote NO and allow developers to make their own decisions, without restrictive Site & Architectural review?
The choice is simple; Vote YES on Measure K!
